Polden Planning is a small town planning consultancy based on the Polden Hills. We have over 30 combined years of experience working in planning in the southwest of England. We work with SME builders, landowners and private individuals to submit planning applications. We also work with Parish Councils to prepare and adopt neighbourhood plans. About West of England Developments

At auction in May 2026, West of England Developments Ltd. purchased land east of Holywell Road (and north of Manor Road), at the time known as “Plot 21”. West of England Developments are locally based near Taunton and have been building homes in Somerset and Devon for over 40 years. The company has a track record for working with communities to deliver quality, rural housing which communities can be proud of. Since 2012, West of England Developments has been building out its sites under its construction arm, known as Otter Construct. Within new housing schemes, the team actively seeks to understand and deliver upon local community priorities within the villages and towns that we work in. This includes providing affordable housing on site and working closely with Community Land Trusts and Housing Associations.
