This website was established to seek feedback from the community about providing new homes on land west of Maple Road in Curry Rivel. 

Polden Planning is working on behalf of the Maple West Partnership (the applicant) to prepare an outline planning application for up to 45 dwellings at the site shown outlined red on the map below.

February 2026 Update

Thank you for everyone who completed our online survey and attended the in-person meeting last year. This has provided valuable feedback on our proposals for the site and priorities for the community. We are now considering responses in detail alongside pre-application engagement with Somerset Council.
