Wild Oak Lane, Trull
Wild Oak Lane, Trull
Introduction and Purpose
This website was established to seek feedback from the community about the construction of two self-build homes on land between Sunningdale and Withywind at Wild Oak Lane, Trull.
January 2025 Update
Thank you to everyone who completed our online survey. This has provided valuable feedback on our proposals for the site and priorities for the community. We are now considering responses in detail alongside pre-application engagement with Somerset Council. This will influence how we develop the proposals moving forward.
July 2025 Update
Our online consultation ran from November 2024 until January 2025 and we were really pleased with the level of feedback – thank you to everyone who responded. In preparing the planning application, we have incorporated the top 3 priorities that were feedback from the community: to keep the development small-scale, for local people, and to maximise landscape and ecological improvements.
We have now submitted a full planning application to Somerset Council under planning reference 42/25/0020. To view the application please visit: https://www3.somersetwestandtaunton.gov.uk/asp/webpages/plan/plapplookup.asp
Full site plans, elevations, floor plans, and landscape plans are included as well as details of the improvements to Trull Meadow that the development would bring. We encourage everyone to read our planning statement and review the plans that have been submitted, and if you can offer support we would be really grateful.
We will be attending the Trull Parish Council meeting on Monday 21st July should anyone wish to discuss the project with us.
The planning application documents are the most up-to-date information on the proposals. Information from the previous online consultation is also available to view by clicking on the buttons below.
